8 Treasure Nougat Mia's team made the dessert course, inspired by the Ming Dynasty for the advanced cooking class's project: Dynastic Dinner, a tribute to the Chinese Dynasties. A Type of Galapagos Turtle	Super Trees! These super trees are solar powered and act as chimneys for the Gardens at Marina Bay. These "chimneys" suck out the hot air from the biodomes to keep the temperature in the gardens level at all times.

Gavin Yang took the CIA NY kids around Singapore.	Dongchimi! Water kimchi is very popular in Korea, especially during the winter when finding fresh vegetables can be hard. This kimchi is a water kimchi and daikon is currently being fermented.
Coffee Expedition Gavin took the group to Chye Seng Huat to experience Singaporean Coffee	Learning about Kaiseki Ryori Chef Masayo, Japan's first female Kaiseki master, came to teach the CIA Asian Concentration students about the Shokado Bento.

Camping at Pulau Ubin	Learning the Nomadic Life As per the curriculum, Chef Gypsy Gifford took the class out to Pulau Ubin to experience cooking over a live fire. This also included staying over night at the camping grounds of Pulau Ubin.
Middle Eastern Cuisine Family Meal	Ready for India! The group spent 8 days in India traveling down the southern coast starting from Mumbai and ending in Thekkady.
